We were encouraged, challenged, we listened and laughed and God was glorified. Those were some of the words straight from our senior pastor, Robert Sullivan, and are probably a good summation of the way most people felt about it. I talked to about a half dozen people that had similar comments. Scott Davis came to Mt. Carmel this morning (10/28) and we had a great time in the Lord. One of the best moments to me was when he sang “Mary, Did You Know”. There was a video with footage of Mary and Jesus that made the words of the song come to life. That was one of the serious parts of the service where I felt like God touched peoples lives. It’s not that He didn’t work through the comedy & laughter. Those were tools used to prepare the hearts, ears & minds to receive the message of salvation in song and spoken word.
